Breakfast

Our sumptuous breakfast is served in the beautiful sunny dining room and includes an extensive buffet of cereals, mueslis, fresh fruit and juices, followed by a traditional German breakfast prepared to guests' wishes. Meals are accompanied by coffee, a wide selection of teas, and local produce whenever possible. During the low season, our distinguished guests will have the possibility to order anything they wish for a perfect personal breakfast.
Breakfast is served from 8 to 10 a.m. on weekdays, and from 8 to 11 a.m. on weekends. Please note that bathing apparel is not permitted.

If you have clothing that needs laundering, there is a laundry bag and a laundry list in your wardrobe. Please note that unfortunately, dry cleaning is not possible.

Did you find or forget something at the PALAIS? Any found objects of special value will be stored at the reception for 6 months. Call us if you are missing anything – we will gladly mail your lost item to you.

Minibar / Drinks

We protect the environment. Therefore, we installed a fridge on the second floor, where you can find a selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, and sweet or salty treats. If you still would like to reconnect the mini-bar in your room, please contact the reception.
We also serve drinks from our extensive list of beverages, which you can find in the dining room.

Pets

We love animals. However, only small dogs are welcome in the hotel, with the exception of the dining room. Please register your pets upon your reservation; a single charge will be calculated at time of departure.

Postcards and stamps

In the writing set in your room you will find some free postcards of the PALAIS. Stamps are available at the reception. We will also be happy to mail your letters, post cards and parcels.

Reservation (Wellness)

To make your visit as carefree as possible and to allow greater choice and flexibility on the day of your visit, we strongly recommend that you book your treatment time allocation in advance of your visit.

Restaurants

Although dinner is not served, there are many fine restaurants within a few minutes walk of the hotel, and the resident proprietors are happy to recommend their personal favourites. We serve coffee, cake, and snacks from our small menu daily between 2 and 8 p.m.

Room key

If you return to the hotel after 9 p.m., please take your room key with you. It opens the front door and has a remote control which will open the gate. For your own safety, please make sure to lock the gate and the door.

Safe

A safe is built into the closet of your room. We advise you to store valuables and large amounts of money in the safe in your own interest. Please note that the PALAIS is not liable for any losses.

Shopping

Bad Saarow offers some small boutiques and supermarkets. For the shopping enthusiasts among our guests who do not fancy travelling to Berlin, the city of Fürstenwalde offers various options: a pleasant shopping street with plenty of cafes, the “Fürstengalerie” (Prince’s Arcade), or the “Rathauscenter” (Town Hall Centre), which leave (almost) nothing to be desired.

Smoking

Please note that, for the comfort of all our guests, the PALAIS is an entirely non-smoking hotel. Please understand that in case our guests disregard the ban on smoking, we will have to charge them an additional € 500 for renovation.

Sun loungers

Please take all your towels and personal belongings with you if you leave our sun loungers. To “reserve” sun loungers would not be fair to all our guests. That is why we will store any item left behind at the reception. Thank you for your understanding!

In Lake Scharmützel: For your own safety, please do not jump into the water, but use our ladder – there is a low water depth in the entire area!
